The Marine is a 2006 film directed by John Bonito, written by Michelle Gallagher and Alan B. McElroy, produced by Joel Simon, and starring WWE professional wrestler John Cena. The film was produced by WWE Films and released by 20th Century Fox on October 13, 2006. [1] The MPAA has rated this movie PG-13 for intense sequences of violent action, sensuality and language. The DVD will be released on January 30, 2007 in separate "Rated" and "Unrated" versions.

The movie was made in the Gold Coast at Movieworld in Queensland, Australia but will not be shown in Australian cinemas until 22 February 2007.
